Engineer turned
people leader

I started my career as a software engineer and team lead, building and shipping products in high-pressure commercial environments. That technical foundation shapes how I think about organisations: as systems that need clear design, honest feedback loops, and the right people in the right roles.

Over time, my focus shifted from the code to the people writing it. I moved into people leadership and operations within Reaktor, an international technology consultancy, where I now lead operations for a business unit spanning the Netherlands, Finland, and Portugal as a member of the leadership team.

I own the full people lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to performance, compensation governance, and workforce planning, alongside commercial accountability. I also built and led the company-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion function from inception.

Outside of Reaktor, I serve as Board Chair at Stichting Young Diverse Leaders, a foundation focused on supporting emerging leaders from underrepresented backgrounds.
